Ecclesiastes of Endurance 7:11-13
Vanity of vanities, says the Lifter, all is vanity without persistence. For what does it profit a man to begin the path of iron if he abandons it at the first soreness? I have seen under the sun those who start with zeal, purchasing expensive attire and speaking loudly of their intentions, only to disappear when discipline is required. But the one who returns day after day, through seasons of progress and plateaus, this is the one who truly understands the iron. For the temple of muscle is not built in days but in years, and he who endures shall eventually reap what he has sown in sweat.
